It's a firefox add-on, you can put in a url and it will run a SEO diagnostic on the page. Wondering if it's legit.
It's showing I have no meta description when I do have Meta description completed on my site?

Or how about this, what do you use to check your SEO if you use anything at all?

Depends on my mood. Depends on my goal. Here's a link to a variety free tools.

Screaming Frog helped me clean up a bunch of stuff last summer. However, the free version is limited to 500 URL's. I expect I will be using it again soon.

Yesterday, Bing webmaster tools helped me spot two H1 tags on my home page. Ditto tons of missing alt image tags to be fixed.

Now does anyone have a tool that can tell me where there's an open code tag on my template? :)

+1 for screaming frog, but for super-quick check of a page (and product) we use SEOQuake too. Its really easy to use and gives much-needed advice!

CartAngel.com is good (free trial) and is quick to use for Volusion. It checks content and is a continuous service, rather than one-off.

Google Webmaster Tools is way too complicated for me.

There is a neat little smartphone app: Site Grader, by LXRSEO that gives some good info.
