We are setting up Google remarketing on our site. in order to do this, we need to place some code that shows up on all pages EXCEPT the order completion page. How do we do this?

Why do you not want the code on your order complete page?
I've got my code site wide and it works fine.

If you've got your adwords and analytics accounts connected you can segment using analytics, you don't need different code on different pages any more.

I talked with google today. They confirmed that best practices is to not have the remarketing tracking code on the order completion page. This is used to eliminate remarketing to visitors who completed a sale.

I am not sure how to do this. We placed code in our template.

There are two ways to do re-marketing, code everywhere and then you list which page for what. Or you can put custom code on which page you want to re-market too. You may want to have different re-marketing campaigns depending on different actions.

Has anyone used Google Tag Manager for Remarketing? I just started using GTM and it includes rules for firing a particular tag.

Best,
