Thread: One page checkout activity/error report

It no longer comes up prefilled for your site as far as I can tell so don't worry about it but I would keep it as not required. You could remove it with scripting if you like but that is up to you.

This is a great example of a very informative e-mail message I got today. Names, email address and id changed for privacy.

    Code:
    9/30/2014 2:29:54 PM
    15100 | Dan Smith | dansmith@test.net
    14CB80B1563B47CDAEF498E1C5BA608E

Gateway Response: The credit card has expired.
There was an error response communicating to the payment gateway server. Please try again in a few moments.

This is another fail on the part of Volusion. Disabling fax only disables on the billing address, yet it still appears in the shipping address.

I used css to remove it. If you are interested in the fix, let me know.

BTW - This was a feature request from many, many years ago.

Which post has the latest Code?

  6. #21
I take it that this code is using the newsletter feature as a means to send emails. I say this because it does not work on our "Mini" test site because newsletters are not a part of the plan. After an attempt, I got a dialog box in the admin that the newsletter limit had been reached.

I just tested on our live site. Wow! This is very clever, Marc!

  8. #23
No, it does not use the newsletter feature and thus there is no limit to the amount of e-mails that can be sent.

The one with the newer post time/date stamp.

Marc, you just did two tests on our site, right? FYI. I got them both.

    Yes. Super cool.

As for the Mini site. It still does not work. There must be some behind the scenes tie with V and their "newsletter limitation". That's the only thing I can come up with.

Well anything is possible with Volusion at the controls

For those interested, I just had two emails within minutes. These are real customers and both did complete their orders.

Customer #1 - Missed the phone number field, or perhaps did not want to include a phone number.

Please fill in the Billing Address field Phone Number.
Please fill in the Shipping Address field Phone Number.

    Customer#2 - Password creation issue.

"Password" and "Type it again" must be the same, please try again.

Two way street. Many things are impossible with Volusion at the controls.
