    Hello,

I have verified this issue and have forwarded it to our Product Management team for further review. Unfortunately at this time, I cannot provide you an ETA for a solution. Having said that, this ticket will remain open and we will reply as soon as any updates are available.

Additionally, please note that this ticket will be documented outside of our CRM system for our Development Team, which means we will not actively be checking this ticket for replies from you. If you have any additional issues with your store, please create a new ticket to our Support Team and they will be happy to address any further concerns.

    Thank you for choosing Volusion!

So the answer is to run every link we post on facebook thru the "Facebook debugger"?

Do you really think you solved the problem?

We are using "Volusion's Interface" maybe that is what should get fixed instead of me doing a "Work-around"

Now can you give me another answer?

    Because that will not work.

    David,

Thank you for contacting Volusion! I understand you have questions regarding your Facebook posts that contain HTML. I was happy to look into this for you. I took a product link, pasted it into my Facebook, and found HTML. Then I took your store URL and ran in through the Facebook Debugger at:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

And took the same product link and entered it into my Facebook and it did not show any HTML code. Should you run into error again, you can run any link on your store through the Facebook Debugger. If you have any other questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us anytime!

    Hello:
Any time we post an item to our facebook page through our Admin-Social section it always show the description of the item in HTML code and not regular text. Here is how it will appear on facebook.

    <h1>Zebra Print Feet Tshirt</h1>
    <strong>Available on Hoodies - <a href="http://www.berniesniftytees.com/Zebra-Feet-FPH-p/a10009b-fph.htm"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">Here</span></a> - Available on Long Sleeve Tees - <a href="http://www.berniesniftytees.com/Zebra-Feet-LST-p/a10009b-lst.htm"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">Here</span></a></strong><br/>
Best on White, Med.Grey, Sand, Ash, Lt. Blue, Lt. Pink
    <br/>Image Size = 12" x 14"

Is there something I am missing?

    Thanks David

Don't count on it, I have a verified issue that was reported to the development team 1231 days ago and I keep randomly commenting on the ticket thread to see if anyone is paying attention...... Nope.

I have 11 open tickets ranging from 53 days to 987 days ago.

A V tech once told me that it is better to open a new ticket on the same topic than to reply to an old one. Their priority for actioning a ticket is newest, not oldest! I did that for a while- opened new tickets and referenced the older ticket in the new one. Got plenty of fast responses, but mostly no closure or real answers. In a couple cases, I got truly stupid answers from people who clearly did not read through the original ticket and were clueless.
